How to wear it

Five steps. One mirror. Under a minute.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Clean and dry your skin

Wash the area around your nostrils and pat dry. The adhesive bonds best to clean, dry, oil-free skin. Avoid moisturiser or sunscreen on the area before applying.

  2. 2

    Peel from the carrier sheet

Each sheet holds one pair, left and right. Peel one filter gently from the sheet, handling it by the outer ring to keep the adhesive clean.

  3. 3

    Position over the nostril

Stand in front of a mirror. Hold the filter with both hands and align it over one nostril. The filter media should cover the nostril opening completely.

  4. 4

    Press gently to secure

Press the adhesive ring against your skin with light, even pressure. Hold for a few seconds. The filter should sit flat and feel secure.

  5. 5

    Repeat for the other side

Apply the second filter the same way. Once both are on, breathe normally. You should feel slight resistance. That's the filter doing its job.

Find your size

Measure across the widest part of one nostril.

A nostril photographed straight on with a red line drawn across its widest opening.

Not sure? Start with M. It fits most adults.

Common first-time issues

Filter won't stick

Skin may be damp or oily. Clean with a dry tissue first. Avoid applying immediately after washing your face. Give it a few minutes for the skin to dry fully.

Filter peels off after an hour

Humidity and sweat break down the adhesive. In hot weather, reapply if it loosens. Don't try to reposition a used filter. Just grab a fresh one.

Feels uncomfortable or tight

You may need a different size. If the filter wrinkles or bunches at the edges, try one size up. If it doesn't cover the nostril, try one size down.
