The filter media is non-woven spunlaced polyester. In controlled lab testing by EMSL Analytical in 2018, the media captured:

  • more than 99% of particles 10 micrometres and larger
  • around 93% of particles under 2 micrometres
  • close to 80% of particles below 0.1 micrometres
